You might email them back while you get the actual test invite email, I heard they allow to take the test while overseas, but for the oath you must be in Canada for sure

My profile has been updated today again, but this time showing Background check completed (on the new tracker), guess they might send a test invite soon...

From what I have read on this forum, the actual email invite comes a couple days before the test window opens

Got a ghost update on the account today, but nothing has changed inside

How can you be so sure about that? I applied online on June 4th, got AOR on Sept 8th, since then no updates

No one knows for sure. And it is also impossible to get a proper answer from them. So, you just have to wait it out or maybe as an option submit the ATIP Request to see the notes and what's going on with your file. But it as well takes time to get the notes . So, waiting game it is anyway.

You cannot. ECAS is available only for those who applied on paper...

Check your CoPR...what is listed under your place of birth there?

It can stay like this forever. They do not bother to change it. But I believe in those ghost updates. It means your file has been reviewed by someone

It's definitely a good sign. It means something is happening for sure. Background check message can never be changed to anything else
