Just curious... Does someone know if they mention the name of the passport issuing city in the passport? And which one it will be if I apply in person or if I apply by mail? TIA for your replies

I am from Vancouver. Had my Oath on May 9th. File closed on May 13th. Winnipeg was my ceremony office too. Still waiting for the certificate. Think it might take another week...:rolleyes:

That's not really important. I forgot to email my results to myself after the test as well, but it didnt affect anything...would be nice to have them for personal records, but it is what it is...

Well, they need to have an address to where they will send your certificate, so that's why they verify. Logical, right? Just decide for yourself, either you wish to receive the certificate at your old address, or provide them a new one during the ceremony....:rolleyes:

I dont know, applied from Vancouver, got a test invite from this mysterious West office, but Oath invite came from another office...

Looks like it deals with applications from within BC and part of Alberta, but no one knows for sure...a bit slow, I would say

you need either IELTS or CELPIP certificate...did you use one of those for PR, didnt you?

I guess West office is dealing with BC and part of Alberta applicants, but it is just a guess from what I've seen on this forum and my own experience, applied from Burnaby

My oath is scheduled for May 9th, I got the email yesterday, pretty sure you will receive the email next week

They will ask you where to send your citizenship certificate to after the ceremony, so you can confirm the address with them at that moment
