My Acknowledgement date is Oct 11, Vancouver. Looks like those with Oct 6 are still waiting to get processed. I think I will apply for Entry visa now. Anyone applied Entry visa at Vancouver. Please share your timeline.

It doesn't look like anyone is having any issues in getting the OCI these days, right? As in extra documentation requests or something like that. Mine has been under process with acknowledgement date : Oct 11. Hoping to see a positive update to the application soon.

I am not entirely sure of all the steps in the process. But under process status is good. Means that they are working on it. I think the next update would be only when the OCI is ready. They don't update us about the interim steps, if any.

Why are the ones in US suffering?

Yeah they need to restore the evisas. They are making people who have to travel to India urgently suffer.

Not sure if we can assume the timeline of applications that were submitted well before Sep 21 and hope ours might be the same. There would have been a huge influx of applications after Sep 21 after the visas were suspended. That would cause the progress to be slower than before.

No update for me. My acknowledgement date is Oct 11. I don't expect to see any update atleast until Nov 11.
