OCI at CGI Vancouver

Hi all,

Those who had applied for OCI recently at CGI Vancouver and got it - can you please let me know how many days it is taking these days?

I am trying to figure out if it is better to apply for e-visa also along with OCI to be on safer side.

I recently applied but have no idea how long it takes. Mine's still under process. If it says it's under process at OCI GOI tracker, does it mean it is processing at CGI Vancouver or it is under process in India (like running all the security checks) and all.

I am not entirely sure of all the steps in the process. But under process status is good. Means that they are working on it.

I think the next update would be only when the OCI is ready. They don't update us about the interim steps, if any.
