This is for those that already have their PR card. Do we have to contact Immigration Canada with a change of address if we've already received our PR card? When the card was received we were still living at the address provided during the process. But we moved about 1 month ago.

Has your wife called Immigration Canada to find out more info?

Hi Mrsaskatoon, No, it does not mean that they have made a decision. You have to pay the fees no matter what. For us we chose to pay them when we sent in the application. The processing time once Rabat has received the application is 8 months. Here is the link to show the processing times...

We had them loose in envelopes (one envelope per year) & labeled the back of each one. Who was in it, the date, what we were doing etc Hope this helps.

Hi M, He has to be available. If they need info or request documents etc he has to be able to go in the time frame they give him or things will be delayed.

Call Canadian Immigration. Make sure you have your client number and ask them questions. They will give general info but they might have some insight on how to go about getting more info.

Welcome :) No it doesn't. For us, the interview was January 19th, 2012 and the decision was made March 15th, 2012. The change of status online didn't change right away. Then they made an appointment for him to pick up his Visa, which was April 18th, 2012. Just gives you an idea of the time...
