Hi, I have applied on Sep 1st and AOR on Nov 30, from Toronto with family. I don't see any update to my application after AOR, everything is in progress. Can I call CIC to check the status ? or do I wait ? not sure how many in this forum of same status of mine.

My family application moved to "In Process" today. AOR Nov 30.

If you have IELTS (GENERAL) expired, better to attach it, no harm.

There is one applicant in Aug 11, returned due to Academic IELTS.

@PRASHYMYS : Thank you for the update. I submitted my application in Sep, hope its not returned for the same reason :). Atleast we now know that the explanation letter will work, Peace of Mind.:)

Thank you. I was trying to figure out how to resolve this , when we don’t have other original birth certificate how do we produce it? Will certified copy and explanation letter works ?

Hi Venu, can you please help me on this, I have same situation because of English/Tamil birth certificate. How did you resolve this.

I too submitted similar birth certificates for both of my kids. I am Sep 2020 applicant. If many applications returned for similar reason, we need to collaborate and supply information to others if successful AOR.
