AoR is taking 60+ days at this point, so if you sent your application in June, you can probably expect it in August-ish.

My application package was returned today for reason "original translations of any documents that are not in English or French or missing".
I submitted my application along with my wife and kids. My elder kid's birth certicate is in both English and Tamil.

Anyone has similar issue? The Birth Certificate is cleary in English and Tamil not sure why they sent it back.
Planning to get it translated. Any links you can provide is much appreciated.

This is an inconsistent rule of IRCC. We submitted kids Pakistani Birth certificates which were also in both English/ Urdu but accepted by IRCC and issued AOR recently.

Thank you. I was trying to figure out how to resolve this , when we don’t have other original birth certificate how do we produce it? Will certified copy and explanation letter works ?

I suggest you to talk to their agent over the phone and discuss your concern first before taking any further step.
