    I check both at the same time. I have heard about un-synced updates between ECAS and MyCIC. I checked yesterday and none said 'Decision made'. So it happened overnight.

    I just checked and my ECAS also says 'Decision Made' though inside MyCIC account, it still says 'Final Decision' - Not started. Fingers crossed.

    Historically, it may or may not send the email. It's best to log in and check MyCIC every couple of days, at least. Don't rely on just email if you have got a MyCIC account going.

    Indian PCC has a validity of 1 year I believe. So, you need to put the date a year after the PCC was issues from.

    I think the background check will probably cover the investigation for the time your parents spent the time in Canada.

    Really? Ah...Getting it from passport office would have been so easy for my parents since we can apply online. Anyways, it was easy to get it from local police station too. :D
