    It really sucks. In the past everyone who did a 1 year + 8 month got atleast a 2 year , max 3 years.

    The NOC thing is only for the Job offer from what I have checked. Also 8 months program gives 1 year right

    That's really bad news for us who have done 2 certificate programs. Will we get points on our Express Entry, if we get 1 year experience from a job not in our field?

    There is a message doing rounds, showing some "official" screenshots, saying that anymore students like me who have done 2 1 years permits, or 8+8/1+8 and so on, will only get a 2 year work permit anymore. Is this true?

    Yes I assume the sticker on the passport. My Trv expires on November My study permit also on November. But my program ends in August. People say you can't enter the country without a new study permit. and yes I plan to come back in 2 weeks itself.

    Ah okay, just cause of black Friday, it touched 21 hours. But other than that, I have worked less than 18 a week, including just 5 hours this week..so I think I'll be safe.
