We applied as a family for SP and SOWP together from Abu Dhabi. We both got the PPR last week. However, the VFS office in Abu Dhabi is closed since 14th Jan. The VFS helpline is not helping much for the details of the process now. Can someone give some guidance on what to do from here onwards.

No update yet. I initially thought its a false update and would revert. But its been over a week now! I am guessing they are prioritizing Winter 2021 intake study permits ahead of SOWPs

Medical is not required as I am applying from the UAE

I applied for SOWP in the first week of Oct. Submitted finger prints the next few days and my status then read "We are reviewing your eligibility ...." A few days ago it has changed back to " Your application is in progress and we will let you know once we start reviewing your eligibility...."...

I don't see any value addition from agents. They ll simply collect the documents from you and write you generic statements of purpose. You can do it better yourself

No! just showed the bank account details which comfortably cover tuition plus living expenses. Just received the letter for biometrics today. Let's see. Even the processing times it says is 22 weeks now!!!

I am also quite discouraged to see the rejection rates from the UAE. Maybe a letter from employer might help that they ll take you back once you finish your studies. What about the option of applying from Pakistan. I have applied from the UAE and just reading the posts here, my hopes are sinking.

I am seeing in the group that rejection rates from UAE are particularly high. Any one with a successful story from Abu Dhabi.
