Buddy, if you look at the USA immigration system where I need to pay an arm and a leg for anything related to visa or PR (even though employer covers cost, most times it get reflected in our pay), Canada is far better. Anyways no immigration system is perfect and have to go through these hassles.

Aug 2nd was my last update where background check changed to "In Progress". How about you?

Today I checked (last checked on thursday) and I see that my Background check is updated to: Your application is in progress. The rest of the status remains the same, not sure if the eligibility is passed.

From few other posts in this forum, I understand that eligibility is done and then they proceed towards BGC check. Criminality and Security are a part of BGC process. Please check : https://help.gcmsnotes.com/code/aor-to-ppr What does "Review of eligibility" status say in your profile?

Is it possible to update few more cases to this table. Whoever got their ecopr if they can update this table, it will be a good reference for others and take the stress of the impatient wait duration.

The reason might be that your medicals was done far later (Jun 9) than the others that have got it. I completed my medical on May mid and my AOR is Jun 15, I received the medical passed update this monday. You might need to wait a week or two.
