And strangely, today I received another mail saying my application has been updated but there is no change in the portal.
Note that the biometric for my spouse hasn't been given yet.

i have a queries please help me what to do in this situation.
my exp. for cec is completing on august 10 but i put my file in pool already and got my ITA on 22 july.
so what i should do now
1. got with the ita and submitted file after 10 august
2. decline the ita
please please give your valuable suggestion i am so confused.

Do I need to go for work permit extension or Bridge Open Work Permit? Which option is better and safe if PR gets delayed? Please suggest

I guess you'll get your PR by September end. If not you still have time until Nov 1. If you still don't get any positive response by October last week then you can apply for BOWP which will be valid for one more year. You can't extend your work permit. I hope this helps.

Actually I am in India and still not able to travel due to travel restrictions.
I am planning to travel after aug 21 update from IRCC

Few of them travelling from Mexico, can we do like that, Did IRCC is going to issue PPR for you, or will u travel with work permit.

I will travel with work permit. they haven't issued PPR yet.

Sorry one more doubt, can't we travel directly if we have valid visa. Why you received mail from IRCC . IS this related to PPR submission in August or travel. Can you tell me

Medical passed 7th July
GU 15th July ( BG changed from " we are processing" to " your application in progress")

Called IRCC today they said eleigability passed byt criminal and secuirty have not started yet.
What does it mean and why they don't started them yet?

From few other posts in this forum, I understand that eligibility is done and then they proceed towards BGC check. Criminality and Security are a part of BGC process. Please check : https://help.gcmsnotes.com/code/aor-to-ppr
What does "Review of eligibility" status say in your profile?

Today I checked (last checked on thursday) and I see that my Background check is updated to: Your application is in progress. The rest of the status remains the same, not sure if the eligibility is passed.
