I am the sponsor, I received an email advising me, I checked ecas ad GCkey , neither of them show any reference to it being moved, I don't know if it normally does or not.

When it first says "received" it means they are starting to process your app in CPC Sydney, the first stage in the process, you should receive a couple more updates before they tell you where your app is being forwarded to. Have patience, nothing to worry about right now.

You should be able to open an account with RBC, my wife did 2 years ago while we were in Canada for a visit. One of the few banks that will open one for a person who is not a PR or citizen. I checked many of them at the time.

That's you confirmation it has been received. Call if you want but they won't tell you anything besides that it has been received. If you ask when you will get the AOR they will say in 45-60 days.

HOw did you send your app to them? There should be a tracking number unless you sent it via regular post. People are getting AOR1 quickly recently, 3 weeks or so. BUT the normal time can be up to 2 months, so be patient, if you get it earlier than that it is a bonus. Follow the tracking page...
