My application was December 27, 2023. So far only citizenship test is completed. Eveything else is in progress (except ceremony). Let's hope for a quick progress in our cases.

Your dates are almost same with mine, even the ghost update on March 30, but I didn't check my tracker since March 30, last time I checked my LPP, BG were still in progress and ceremony not started. Hope I can catch up with your progress too. Congratulations to you!!!

Honestly, I have very little idea about how IRCC processes citizenship applications, maybe they met their targets for 2023 applications and thus putting more emphasis on 2024 applications. In any case, we are still lucky. A couple years ago the application processing took up to two years.

I was just looking at the spreadsheet, looks weird how EVERYONE who submitted their fingerprints is still waiting for the background check to complete.

I'm not from Mississauga office, but I submitted my FP on Feb 24, RCMP mailed it out on March 7, and only got update on the tracker to "received" this morning, Mar 27.

I applied December 27, 2023, AOR on Jan 12 and did not hear back until Feb 1 (FP request), so I guess it's normal.

Thanks God finally received the test invite on March 8 (on tracker) and March 11 (email).

I'm probably in a worse boat :) Application sent - December 27, AOR - Jan 12, Fingerprints requested for daughter - Feb 1, Fingerprints requested for my husband and I, - Feb 23 and nothing since, no test invite nothing, meanwhile people who applied in January already completed their tests.

One more update: On February 23 my husband and I received a fingerprint request and we got it done the next day. Weird though, they sent our daughter's fingerprint request on Feb 1 and only 22 days later sent requests to us as well. :rolleyes:
