    It takes as long as it takes. There are no expected timelines, nor are any published. It could take months, depending on the level of security screening required (record check vs comprehensive check), and your nationality.

    As a general rule, you should be studying now (or at least keeping the info fresh in your mind) as you know you'll get an invite to take a test (unless exempt). But you'll have plenty of time from when you get invited to take the test to do some studying.
