Finally received my passport today! My timelines given below: PPR received – Oct 5 Passport sent – Oct 6 Passport delivered to Ottawa office – Oct 10 CIC account updated – Oct 27 Return tracker activated – Oct 30 Passport / COPR received – Oct 31.

Their timelines for processing the passport ranges from 2 to 9 weeks, so I guess you are still within that range.

The status of my PR application just changed to 'Approved' in my CIC account. :) Now I'm just waiting for my tracker to get activated, hopefully in the next few days. Note - Passport received at the Ottawa office on October 10.
