For your time inside Canada they can do background check themselves, so you don't need to do anything unless they ask you to do something. For time spent outside Canada I'm not sure if they ask now or they may ask about it during applying for citizenship.

Mine says medical passed on the day I got AOR. So not sure why and how did they calculate since they didn't ask me to do medicals. Probably they will update yours soon.

Yea it sounds like it takes around that period. You should hear something from IRCC within the next 2 or 3 months time. Call them now to get your temporary number.

You won't see any updates on this website, since this is only to submit your application. You should use GCKey account on the IRCC website. Call IRCC and ask them about your temporary number. You should be able to link your application to your GCKey account with that number.
