So one of my friend got call from Etobicoke office for confirmation of his PR. His AOR is 28th Feb 2020. His medicals also got extended on 12th April. Biometrics given on 8th October last year. I think it is going to be great Month for all February and older applicants. Maybe IRCC is clearing...

Preliminary decision is taken by the VO. Agents can not confirm whether it is approved or not? @legalfalcon any suggestions?

Atleast you are seeing a movement with your file. I also called today and my file is still in Ottawa pending final decision. You will get your CoPR within 2-3 weeks at most. But it possible you may get it earlier as well.

Files are again not moving. We are on pity of IRCC. I don't understand how many days, months or years this will take.

Is there any way that decision on the file can still be refusal after clearing all the basic steps such as eligibility, criminality and security? I talked to an agent and he said unless the decision is taken it can be anything. He told me decision can be refusal of pr even at this stage where...

So it is random, re medical request. Just like application processing no order whatsoever. 14 months and counting more.

The account will not show as if final decision is pending. You need to call at IRCC Service Center to confirm. I am going to call Tomorrow to know what is going on. Good luck.

So had my medical extended for another year. Had an update on my application yesterday. Now Final Decision is pending. Let's hope this month bring cheers to all of us.
