Some locations such as Brampton, Toronto, Ottawa are open on Saturday but not all. I doubt whether they dispatch on Saturday though - Purolator's weekend pickup service is very limited.

In my experience they never care about the checklist at all. Being a postal application fill it and include it though.

In my experience, Scarborough is better than Brampton for walk-in. When I went to Brampton last week the line was very long (weekday) and, anecdotally, chances of getting was low without lining up in the wee hours of the morning. Whereas in Scarborough I was there at 10 am and got in by 11am...

Do you know when the application was received in BLS and when they processed it for passing on to the consulate? Sometimes postal applications stall a few days at BLS and that could explain your delayed acknowledgement. Others who got acknowledged same time as your have recently reached the...

You can walk-in, but the lines tend to be long, they take only a limited walk-in applicants each day. Be early. This is from experience in Scarborough and Brampton locations. Others may be similar.

@aryanz No, the events leading to the visa suspension.. Also there is a significant uptick in OCI applications in Toronto since then.
