did you apply inside canada or outside canada.

it is simple straight forward application (intial PGWP) . i raised webform asking about the status , and my employer needs PGWP approval and i would liek to go back to India , its been 3 years now. For both questions , the reply is same...in progress.

i raised webform twice, for both they replied that , it is in progress and iam elgible to work as maintaing implied status in Canada. i tried to call them several times, but couldnot get anyone to talk

I have a question to the experts in the group. I have 10 year Vistior visa to Canada. I completed course in canada applied PGWP - may 10th and no response till now. goign for a full time job in canada. Have to visit india , can i go and come back ? will there be any issues or anyone faced any...

i guess we have to wait , seems there are no issues . what i see from this forum is they are giving prioirty to people stranded outside canada. SOWP , BOWP etc.

Yes Applied May10th and waiting for ever. Raised webform twice and got response saying "it is in porcessing state"

without valid visa , do not go out of Canada. especially if you applied for PGWP and go out with out Visa , you cannot reneter.

Study permit gets expired true. but not the VISA. Study permit is in paper, visa is in passport

MAke sure you also have valid visa , you require this to enter into Canada

As long as you have valid study permit (expiry date is beyond feb ). you can apply for work permit inside or outsie canada.

7Months + going for me. raised webform twice, got response saying my status is maintained as iam still in canada. The problem, is i havenot gone homw for 3.5 years now. :-(

Nope, I applied on May10th and we have lot of people applied in and waiting. The processing speed has slowed, last time a person got after 197 days.

you are not alone, lot of people liek me applied in may are still waiting.

Applied on May 11 , PGWP only in canada and still waiting. raised Webform a month ago and still no response :-(

donot worry, looks like processing is slowed down. I have applied on may 10th and still waiting. from the forum i see few people applied in may are still waiting. seems they are giving priority to study permit .
