As i am not going to lose anything on preparing the documents and cannot change the situation about the quota at this point, i will send the remaining documents and tell them that i applied for the category without job offer and see what they say. Mohan

Do they even tell in which category our application belongs? In my letter on 26th they told that my application was received on 2nd and will be reviewed by sinp (with other details in letter such as file number, my name and date of birth). So I think they will not even tell about the application...

Not sure about for 2015 applicants. I think it took 8-12/13 months for 2014 applicants, may be some other experts who tracked the timeline closely can correct this statement.
