Congrats to your parents, I believe the COPR will be valid till the end of medicals. They can travel anytime as long as you have the 2 out of 5 years in mind. PR card currently takes about 2 to 3 months. I believe you can mail it to them if they need to travel back home urgently

Thats really sad. Please what visa office is handling ur application and is anyone in Montreal visa office? I want to know if they are known to be slow. So far I think Mississauga office is faster based on the timelines I see here

I got sponsor approval and biometrics but no AOR. In the sponsor approval letter they mentioned that it has been transferred to Montreal office. Medical request is based on the pattern of the office working on the file so we don't have that yet

Mine is back to 7 too. I guess its because they are done with the completeness check at the CPC Mississauga office and assigned it to the Visa officer based on the country of residence. The case officer that worked on the completeness check would no longer be the same person to continue with it...

Hi ,I would go with the second letter. It appears the agent forgot to give 30 days grace and instead gave 3 days. Corrected the error with the second one that ends June 27.

I think the request for medical and PCC is dependent on the visa office our files are sent to. Looks like its CPC Mississauga's format to request for those upfront. Its been radio silence with Montreal office. Waiting game continues
