right now, i do not think the processing times hold good. Again, it depends which visa office is handling your application. Lot of people on this forum have exceeded the dates and continue to wait.

For some reason lot of Oct applications are stuck. wait till Jan 1st week and take a call. Which country did you apply from to Come to Canada? Some visa offices are super quick

Dec 27 is a holiday in Canada but I am not sure if the decisions are instant. So looking at it from a process workflow perspective, it is likely that decisions rolled out a few days ago, end up showing up today. Cutting the long story short, I have seen Study permits getting approved last year...
