According to CSIS, my screening is still in process. My Spouse's (dependent applicant) is being processed by CBSA. I filed an ATIP request (similar to GCMS notes) to CSIS to ask about the status of the security screening process. I also asked for CBSA notes.

thanks for your insights. The background check has three different sub-activities: criminal record check, information sharing and security screening. GCMS notes indicate that the Criminal Record Check and Info sharing are complete. That's why I was only referring to Security Screening. Anyway...

Is there any relationship between both applications? For instance, if I am waiting for my SS on the PR, they'll hold my TRV application in progress until they resume the SS?

How did you find out they were also screening you? My CBSA notes only mention that it is in progress for my spouse and there is a blank in my sub-activity status.
