It’s not the right thread. But you can’t submit your passport for visa in one country and travel to another without passport. So hence your logic doesn’t sound right - as if your passport is in Kazakhstan, you can’t travel to Nigeria and hence can’t submit anything there. Also, Canadian...

    The anatomy of a Background Check? - <<<<<<IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS>>>>>>>

Yes, that is my case and IRCC confirmed over the phone that Security was fully passed, while in GCMS notes it remained blank even though COPR numbers were there and the stage was ”Final:Approved”

I tried when it was around 15:30 Toronto time. But generally the idea was that if you don’t get connected, try to call at least 10 times before giving up.

@The Wall yes, I attach GCMS notes to webforms every time. The CBSA notes show that officer who has approved the case and asked for RFV to be sent has also assigned the file to ”EE - Approved“ location in Montreal VO and gave them due date of 3-Mar-23 to (I guess) do the next step, which (I...

@The Wall the phone support is unreachable - never managed to connect to a human support since Jul-22. There are no updates in GC Key account, no GUs. Answers received from webforms are a variation of these 2 standard responses received every time "We acknowledge receipt of the documents and...

What is the next step as soon as you give your Biometrics?

No, just sit and wait. IRCC has to link promptly your fingerprints to your application and send them for a check to other countries. But they don’t have to promptly analyze and make changee to your application. So what you see is just a result of assistants not doing their job on time. It’s...
