Every website like this explains what is GCMS and CBSA. If you don't have anyone in Canada, not even friends, your only option is ordering Notes via third-party websites. They'll give you a consent form on the name of a third-person and he'll apply for the Notes for you. Price is usually around...

No. IRCC can prolong your medicals automatically even if they get 1 year. They can do it as many times as necessary based on their own judgement (especially if your original health status was totally fine). Unless you get a request to redo Medicals you shouldn't waste money on that. If you think...

No. If they don’t process any stream besides CEC Inland, that means nobody touches your file to progress anything. Your only proper source of info would be GCMS Notes.

Yes, first time since end of Jan have a GU. Considering it’s Sunday when no one works, considering tomorrow I should receive GCMS Notes it can be a glitch or related to the issuance of notes. Nothing in statuses updated.

Easy answer - they mostly work from home and the workload now is supposed to be smaller than before due the fact that they got told not to process FSW and PNP. So why keep all staff on salary when you only process 1/3 of all immigration programs? Yep, big workload coming from May when new...

Yes, Ok. It doesn’t change anything. Just send a webform to notify them. They won’t care, it’s just for IRCC to know that if ever they want to verify your reference letters, they might get into an angry boss who won’t confirm anything to them because you left that job.

Even if there will be few chosen ones with all stages passed, it doesn’t mean anything until PPRs aren’t issued. MyImmitracker shows that worldwide there is no movement on FSW-O in terms of issued PPRs. Plus, our cases wete studied before mid-Feb, when policy changed, so whoever was lucky to...

one thing is calling, another is to read it from GCMS. Officer could type one number wrong and read someone else file. I don't trust calls, people were told they passed eligibility and criminality like that when it was just first eligibility check and Criminality at Passed - Bio.

IRCC says clearly - they only process CEC : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html The newly launched 6 immigration programs will last till November 2021 only...

Every FSW-O is in the same boat. by now either Criminality is passed, or Eligibility (only 1st check by the Case Processing agent, so not the final one). Almost no one had both of them passed. In all these month saw only guys from Nigeria to pass quick and 1-2 people mentioning they got all...

Probably means you passed first check from Case Processing Agent (assistant) and until it’s the officer who concluded you passed it for sure, it’s not an ultimate status yet.

Looks like if you are FSW-O even with COPR you can’t enter Canada: https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/answers/foreign-non-us-approved-perm-res-afterhttps://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/answers/foreign-non-us-approved-perm-res-after Only option is to enter US...

@legalfalcon @caipsnotes I got few questions on the file processing. This is my particular situation described. AOR is Nov-20, so around Jan-21 after Biometrics submission I had in Criminality the status "Passed-Bio" and the first page of GCMS Notes said that Criminality is Passed. However...

Thank you, that’s what I thought. That basically means there’s no point to order notes from IRCC any more, because why pay for checking 1 month outdated information, when you want to see the most recent one. Only CBSA notes all the way then.

Looking that since Jan there were no updates in my Notes, i guess it only makes sense to order them after getting a Ghost Update or of status changes.

@legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes 3 times and I saw that in 2 times the date of Notes issue was close to the date when I requested the Notes. So by the moment you receive the notes they are already 1 month outdated. In CBSA notes ordered I saw that they were issued around the end of the month...

If you left a country and never went back you’ll never need to reapply for a renewed PCC. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

Don’t know if it’s relevant or not, but Criminality section in my GCMS says it’s only due for the check in January 2022. So this might be an obvious sign that IRCC is not planning to open FSW-O files until situation with coronavirus changes.
