if your tracking is not active by 6:30PM ... cancel the ticket ... Canada Post needs at least 1 business day to ship within the same province. (ottawa --> Toronto for example)

Don't leave without your PR card, otherwise you will need to apply for permanent resident travel document (PRTD), which can take a long time to process outside. the second you got your confirmation of PR they should've cancelled your old TRV and your old permits.
