Hi all. Found this tweet by minister Fraser last month about IME exemption for in Canada candidates. Anyone has more details about this? Are CEC candidates who are receiving ITAs getting a request for IME these days? thanks
It hasn't been implemented yet. Timing and further details aren't known at this time.

Has anyone used this for their application so far? I am trying to understand how it works.
My confusion is --> At the time of submitting the application do we simply provide the unique medical exam reference number of the past examination, and IRCC will contact us if a fresh examination is required?
Any pointer is really appreciated.

one of my friends who got an invite on 9th Nov received an email that he is exempt from a medical exam. Just include your previous IME or UMI number. while submitting the application.Hello all,

Hi, I did take a med exam before getting to apply for the TR to PR program in 2021 (I didn't get to apply because I was too late then). Not sure if this is sufficient.
Hi, could you please tell me in such cases, how to upload the IME or UMI number then? Just write in a document and upload it? or Do I have to submit the eMedical Information Sheet (past)?
