Hi again guys, is there anyone here who applied in June and still haven't received a response? I'd like an idea of where they are in the process... Even though it's impossible to contact everyone in Jamaica who applied for a study permit...

I know another Jamaican going there in september too...btw, do you have any idea as to why your application took a little over 7 weeks? like, have you already went to a tertiary institution...age gap...proof of funds etc...just wanna have an idea

Ohhh I see! Thursday coming is actually my fourth week of applying. I applied on July 5th and did my biometrics on the 11th.

Do we pay for the entire 1st year? Cz I'll be going to Georgian College which requires that I make a down-payment of 2500 CAD in order to receive my official LOA in order to apply for my study permit... So would you say it's necessary to pay for the entire 1st year?
