I received the GCMS notes that I ordered. So basically nothing changed except they updated the deadlines that were in the document!! hahahahaha What is the point of having deadlines if they mean nothing? Oh and my secondary office is still CPC-Sydney. Nothing has changed at all.

Yesterday market one year anniversary since I submitted my application. It kind of feels terrible. I have been told that the reason I am doing through this type of background check is due to my nationality and my field of study (speculation from others I guess). What are your thoughts on this?

I contacted my MP's office a few days ago. They responded yesterday that they talked to an IRCC agent and they said that my application is in the Vancouver office and it is still in progress! No kidding eh? I could see that online as well lol This whole thing sucks and all I can do is to laugh...

You know what is my biggest fear? That I pass the background check and then they refuse my application after over a year of failing because of miscalculation in the Physical Presence :D I have checked it multiple times but I am still terrified!!!! That should be the very first step in my opinion!

You are not alone! I applied a bit after you in May. I am still waiting for my Background check to complete (security clearance) and LPP. Last real update was on July 13 2023 when my test completed.

I am still waiting (since June 2023). From what I have heard it takes at least 11 months now but don't quote me on that. It is hard to have a definite timeline :/

It used to take 8 months, then 9, then 10. I guess the new trend is 11? :D Go Canada!
