can an international student bring spouse' children to Canada?

For what I understand, to get the three year PGWP you gotta take a course of two years, which translates in four semesters. By 16-month master you mean four semesters of four months each or a three semesters program?

    Durham College Application Status: Accepted

Congratulations. Normally you should receive a pre-approval letter and then pay a fee to get the official approval letter, which is used to apply for your study permit. In my case I paid 25% of my first semester, but that could vary on every institution.

The Canadian immigration website says: 1 year of tuition + 10k for main applicant + 4k for second applicant (spouse) + 3k for every extra applicant (dependent children). All in C$. You must provide bank statements of your last four months.

I gave biometrics almost two months after receiving the BVL because the VFS in my country was closed due to Covid-19. I had to travel abroad to give biometrics. Do they evaluate your application even before giving biometrics or should I start counting since I gave biometrics? I applied in...

Can I receive money from my relatives in Canada?

My best suggestion is to put that money in the account and leave it there for some time before you apply. They usually ask you for the last four months of your bank account balance, so this money must have got in before those four months.

Study Permit Refusal - Suggestion required

I guess they're trying to make sure that you'll actually get to Canada, study and follow the legal process to get a permanent residence, not just get to Canada and stay illegal. Just guessing.

In my case, I applied at Fanshawe College in London. Please help me choosing the options I have. PG Diploma or certificate vs Masters

My advice is to take a look at London, Kitchener or Hamilton. They're all smaller cities close to Toronto with apparently good job opportunities. For IT, Kitchener would probably be the better option. Those cities offer college and university option. London: Fanshawe College and Wester...

    Study Permit Rejection

I'm no expert of the subject, but I've read a lot about receiving funds from parents when you're 30+ old. It is not well seen by immigration officers. I am 32 and applied for a study permit (still in process). I did received a couple of bucks from my parents to help me out, but I placed them in...
