Can I apply under FSW-Inland after 2 or 3 months in Canada

I haven't applied as the postdoc hasn't been official, but I am planning on a work permit. My wife would then apply for an open work permit. No kids yet. I guess we will both need TRVs, since all permits are given at the border. Unsure about this, though. But to answer your question: Mine...

Can I apply under FSW-Inland after 2 or 3 months in Canada

Thanks for replying. Yes, my wife is coming with me and she will listed as accompanying. Yes, she already has ECA and IELTS. We both have ECA and IELTS, and our IELTS scores are high enough. They got us a CRS score of 493 (using the tool on the CIC website). As you can see, we can readily enter...

Can I apply under FSW-Inland after 2 or 3 months in Canada

Hello all, I am anticipating a postdoc, and given the uncertainties regarding the pandemic, I want to get me and my family into Canada as soon as possible, even though I already have all the requirements to open an express entry profile. My plan is to apply after 2 or 3 months when I land in...

Applying for FSW while employed in Canada

May I ask how long you've been in Canada before you apply? I am anticipating a postdoc. So I am planning on entering Canada on work permit then applying under the FSW as soon as I settle down. So my question is whether there is a minimum time one must be in Canada before he or she can apply...

    FBI PCC

Thanks once again. One last follow up on this. I saw somewhere on this platform that to be safe, one should go ahead and do the FBI PCC even if one hasn't stayed in the US for up to 6 months. I visited earlier this year for a little above one month. Do you think I should go ahead and do the FBI PCC?

    FBI PCC

Thanks for your response. May I ask if you know its expiration period? 6 months? I want to have it hand before ITA.

    Medical test for pregnant applicant

Thanks for your response. I am in a similar situation. If she does go ahead with the x-ray, would visa be issued regardless of whether baby is born? That is, can she deliver in Canada?

Average time from EE pool entry to ITA

Can we have any recent story of when they got ITA after being in the pool? Seems there is now a policy of a minimum of one month. Can anyone confirm this? Posts to this thread seems to date back to 2017. I was thinking perhaps things have changed since then.
