The "modified date" is highly misleading. This printout from June 23rd still shows the 'old' requirements.

I understand the 'certified translation" part. I just need to find a certified translator to do that. But the last bullet refers to "certified copies of the original document". That means the photocopies of the passport – at least the pages to be translated, need to be certified.

The biographical page is bilingual in Chinese and English.

The translation itself could very well be done in a day or two. But since I am planning to submit on paper, I will also need the translator to send the hard copies to me, which will cause delays.

I had the same problem using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I then downloaded Acrobat Reader DC, and could fill in the language section using that software. The application form is very buggy. And honestly, we should not have to switch to a different PDF reader to complete the form. It's a joke.
