The date on the visa is he date they have to ENTER by, not exit. The border agent will stamp the passport with the date they have to be out.

Honestly feel VO is the main factor. You will see the trends if you look at the tracker. Most "third world" applications taking a lot more time :(

Got my BIL in March and still waiting - Montreal, Quebec. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to their waiting list.

I had to submit the original too. I asked my company to mail it to me. They sent it by expedited mail, took a couple of days. You can offer to pay for it of they make a fuss.

Wondering if anyone has been requested biometrics even though they have submitted within the last 10 years? My mum did biometrics twice within the last 10 years yet they have still requested she do them. Do you think it's worth submitting a form with her passport number and copies of the TRVs...

This is a good question. I finally received my CSQ last night (letter dated 13 November), and the letter says to apply now for RAMQ since it takes time. Do they issue RAMQ before the Feds have approved the PR application??

I assume you're asking because you're in Quebec? You will get a leetter telling you to apply for the CSQ. I believe you need to submit that letter with your application. If you haven't yet received the letter, get your application package together anyway as it takes time. That way you're ready...

We received our biometrics letter the week they cancelled appointments in March and we still have not received a call for biometrics yet. So it's a waiting game. After biometrics request, the local VO will look at your application and request medicals and PCCs. For our application, this happened...

Question: I recently received request for additional documents from my VO located in South Africa. My mum and I are in Canada. Do I have to post hard copies to them? Or do I send them soft copies via email? Or do I upload onto my file online? The email they sent me does not say HOW I should be...
