my wife application under Job Offer International student is at "decision in progress" stage since 20 August. An application that was filed on 14 March. Due to COVID was on hold from 20 May to July 29. After resumption of job process was restarted.

I find it a bit strange, unless and until its information internal to OINP as a norm the applicant is kept informed on what information and whom have they requested it from

Yes applicant is copied, not sure if it is in each and every request. I am pretty sure its is.

Thanks, on another note OINP does not have a uniform approach when it comes to processing from the blog I can see some "DIPs" moving to "nomination" in a week other await for more than a month.

Yes. OINP asked the employer, we were then given 90 days should the job resume. Otherwise after the 90 the application will be returned. After resumption we informed OINP by uploading letter from the employer. OINP still confirmed the authenticity of the letter with the employer. Since then...
