    They are correct. Your GCKey will show "You do not need biometrics" as the default until they send you the BIL. Most recent BILs we've seen on this forum were early-June applicants so for late July, it will be another 1-2 months until you get it.

    Could be a glitch with the application that sends the letters or they may have sent it by post. I have heard of people who called IRCC and were told AIP was sent despite never receiving it. It wouldn't hurt to check.

    The policy you are referring to is separate from the OWP for sponsored spouses public policy. You can still apply for OWP as a sponsored spouse.

    If you're talking about the Application Status Tracker, it's currently broken (not updating since mid-June). How long it takes to get BIL depends on if your application is inland or outland.
