    August 2024 AOR

I think you answered it in your second line. Basically, MPs can't do much to influence visa processing timelines. JD is the way to go if there's an unreasonable delay. Everything else is just a waiting game tbh.

    August 2024 AOR

SLA is only of processing 80% applications within 6 months. On top of that, your application can be tagged non-routine too. Even if you put that aside, they can pause between substages of eligibility, background check, etc too. Also, writing to MPs will do nothing as they can't force IRCC's...

    August 2024 AOR

There's no fixed pattern on this. Background can complete first, eligibility can complete first or either can go on in parallel.

    August 2024 AOR

It is just the average processing time. What constitutes unreasonable delay can be 2-3 years. Also, different timelines for different complexities of application.

Actual processing time for FSW express entry

Those counsellors have nothing to do with your FSW application. Your case processing officers evaluating your application is likely in Canada. Visa processing isn't the main counsellor activity, it is barely 10% of what they do.

ADR in Express Entry (General Stream)

You can get an ADR, you can have zero ADR. I got no ADR. If your documents are good, you won't get any ADR.

Final Decision - January 12 2024 Your application is in progress. We will let you know once a final decision has been made.

It usually is approval. We can't say for sure as we aren't IRCC. Final decision is usually good news, so nothing to be worried about right now.

Steps after PPR & passport submission?

Check how long your IRCC office is taking by looking at processing times over the IRCC {Place name} threads (e.g. there's a thread for IRCC Delhi visa processing timelines).

    French draw

Very hard for me to answer that. Can take 9 months to 1.5 years depending upon how serious you are about it. If you are spending 3-4 hours everyday and laser targeted on fixing your mistakes - you will be there in 7-9 months. Keep giving TEF after 2 months or so to see where you truly stand...

CLB7, B2+ in one from what I remember, others were C1. About the timeline, things you should know: 1. I was casually preparing for ~ 2 years, with a lot more focus on work, my own companies, etc. Was good at french, but was overlooking a few shortcomings when it came to the exam. Got 3 B2+ and...

    French draw

No, B2+. Spend some time reading through the requirements. B2 is your baseline score, but it won't get you CLB7. You need to be on the higher end of B2, which is B2+.

If you are opening a bank account from India(*without activation), there are limits of $50k, $100k, etc on bank accounts. Check what those limits are. * without activation = you just opened the bank account from India and haven't yet landed in Canada to activate the account. Apart from that...
