    Immigrate after IEC work permit

No, you are misinterpreting. You'll have to read ALL the information and then assess all your points to determine if you would qualify - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-employment.asp Read the Instruction Guide and look at the info on "Selection Factors" to assess...

How to apply for CAIPS ????? HELPPP

No - you should select CAIPS and/or GCMS only - these are fast and easy, just printouts of your computerized record. If you select "visa file", that means they will actually request that the visa office pulls your file and makes photocopies - that can take a long time and may cause a delay in...

    proficiency in English

I recommend you register for the IELTS as soon as possible. For CIC, the TOEFL exam is not an "approved" exam, and a published article could have easily been edited by someone else. Just do it - they are very strict right now on this point...

Re: Which Address we need to post our application Kit in India for Canadian Experien Before December 30, 2011, this was true. It is not true any more. CIC has changed its procedures, effective January 1, 2012, and rjessome is 100% correct. You now need to follow the new procedures... There...

    New 2012 CEC application information

The Document Checklist is your truth :) There is still the requirement that PCCs be less than 3 months old at the time you submit them. The "one year" validity means that if it takes more than 9-12 months to process your application, CIC may request that you obtain new PCCs. This rule has...

CEC - 37.5 hours work week

Yes, in my case my contract reads full-time with "a minimum of 33.75 hours per week." In Ontario, the definition of full-time employment is 30 hours or more per week. So in Ontario I'm full-time, but by the Fed's definition, part-time - grrr.

    high school grad for CEC?

The "education documents" requested in the new document checklist are only for education in Canada, and are intended (I think) for those applying under the post-graduate stream. If you did not obtain any higher education in Canada, you would be the same as 80-90% (just guessing) of CEC...

    NOC code choice

no, I don't know. I suspect that HRSDC has pretty good data. And it's all too common for employers to take advantage of foreign workers (esp. those on PGWPs) and pay a substandard wage. It's important that your employer be aware that this abuse of foreign workers is what HRSDC is concerned...

    Employment history letters

You're referring to #3 on the Document Checklist? - it means to submit the original copy of the FORM. It's the same for all forms (Items 1-7 on the document checklist). You have to sign the form and keep photocopies, but submit the original form with your actual signature.

New Application form Supplementary Information – Travel List (IMM 5562)

I suppose that depends on what passport you carry. There's a whole lotta trips with my US passport that have no stamps, esp. between the US and Canada... Same for Europeans moving between other EU countries. And most of my passport stamps are quite illegible. So I'm glad I missed this...

    NOC code choice

I agree, it won't matter too much for immigration since both are skilled. As for a future LMO application - it sounds like you will apply for that AFTER your CEC application, so that won't be relevant to CIC either. RE: LMO - you realize that YOU don't apply for an LMO, right? Your employer...

    NOC code choice

Why on earth would you downplay a promotion on your application? Just to make the paperwork easier? C'mon, a promotion is (a) a good thing, and (b) technically a different job/position, which you are absolutely required to report. (So is your employer, in the Letter of Employment). Since you...

New Application form Supplementary Information – Travel List (IMM 5562)

You mean on Schedule A, Background Declaration? No, I don't think you need to list a 2 week trip for that - just whatever your main activity was for a time period - If you worked from 2007-2010 for one employer, you wouldn't need to list every vacation break :) But you should list it on the...

New Application form Supplementary Information – Travel List (IMM 5562)

Actually, it was the Document Checklist that was revised on 01-01-2012. The form "Supplementary Information – Travel List (IMM 5562)" is dated 05-2004. It was added to the CEC website on 12-22-2011. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.PDF But I think it's safe to infer...

    Extend PGWP

Generally, for an employer to obtain an LMO, the position has to be skilled (NOC level O,A, or B). So you would not be able to obtain an LMO if you continue in your current position.
