Going back to Canada, as I wait for spouse's PR- QUESTIONS

It would actually make your case better if you returned to Canada since you wouldn’t have to prove intent to return to Canada. I would update IRCC when you establish yourself in Canada.

    PR / Citizenship Status

    1. Yes, it will affect the app. If you leave Canada, you must inform IRCC. You can then expect them to request proof of your intent to return prior to approving your wife's app. If you cannot provide solid proof, the app will be refused. 2. As above, her app won't be approved if you are not...

No, inland only works if you are in Canada. If she can enter Canada with you, you could apply inland. If you apply when both of you are outside of Canada, you have to provide intent to return. If you return to Canada and she is outside Canada, you can apply outland, but she would not be...

I am so incredibly stressed out and could use advice...

Whether you can defer is up to the schools. It depends on what other proof of intent to return you can provide. If IRCC isn't satisfied, they will request more proof.

I am so incredibly stressed out and could use advice...

How is one supposed to provide that proof if school applications don't open until a certain time, and financial aid awards operate the same way? This is why we (and all 4 of our parents) wrote detailed letters explaining our exact intentions and why we had insufficient proof of intent when we...

I am so incredibly stressed out and could use advice...

The process isn't meant to be done in a way where you apply and then IRCC patiently asks you for proof of what you were supposed to provide in your application. Applying for school in and of itself isn't proof of intent to return to Canada. I hope it works out for you.
