Sorry if this has already been asked and I missed it, but what is the difference here between a pre-arrival email and PPR? We received an email asking that within 30 days, we send along my husband's passport, 2 photos and let them know of any changes that may have happened.

Hi Kaushuque, Got PPR on Monday, Aug 20th. Passports delivered at Ottawa- Aug 22nd Return tracking activated- not yet. I posted an update right after receiving PPR email but it seems ss admin missed it back then. SS admin- please update above.

You can send the Passport without waiting for another request.

Actually no ghost update before PPR. May be I missed any such update. One of my known with similar case, saw ghost update yesterday and today he received PPR email. He submitted baby's document on 31st Jan 2019.
