Inland applicants are being prioritized now while outland applicants are ignored. Feeling hopeless

No PPR still for FSW-O post March 18, 2020. Honestly, I'm disappointed. I've been approved March 23, 2020 based on GCMS notes

Happy for you guys. I'm just disappointed that as an FSW-O applicant, we are not included. My AOR is Nov 2019. Based on GCMS notes, my application was approved March 23, 2020. Just five (5) days after the travel restriction.

Unfortunately, we can't do anything. Hoping though that the travel restrictions will be lifted soon, so maybe applications such as FSW-O will progress after.

You should try ordering GCMS notes to get a whole picture of your application.

I disagree, I believe that immigrants would bring more money compared to students. Immigrants would sell their house and all just to come to Canada. It maybe because Canada is not approving outland applicants is that they will compete with those who are jobless at the moment. But still, Canada...

Honestly all of us here are frustrated. Canada should process their backlogs already since in has more than a year since they issued CoPRs especially to outland applicants. They should also considering their well being.

received one too. i think this was a blast email to everyone whose application was approved, even for those whose application which was approved after march 18, 2020. based on GCMS notes, mine was approved on march 23, 2020.

@legalfalcon Assuming that the primary applicant has received an AL because of his brother, can the primary applicant also request for AL for his his/her dependemts eventhough he/she has not yet landed in Canada? so they can go to Canada at the same time?

@legalfalcon I was just thinking, if the primary applicant (FSW-O) has a brother/sister in Canada, can he/she bring his/her dependents to Canada if he/she will apply for family reunification? assuming also that their application was already approved based on GCMS notes?

Unless you are applying as CEC, you may be able to get your CoPR within 6 months. It's not the case for FSW-O applicants as they are not being prioritized right now. Many are still waiting for more than a year now to get their CoPRs.

You should get GCMS notes for you to really check your application.
