    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

It is really your decision if you contact a lawyer. Personally, if I received a letter that's purpose was to question the authenticity of the documents and/or statements I had made on my application or was requesting information I knew I had already submitted, then yes I would contact a lawyer...

Thank you for clarifying this @patvicto . From the documents requested, which seem like standard docs to send, it seemed like they were missing. But yes, I agree if these letters are issued when IRCC has concerns about false statements or fraudulent docs it would be very wise for @Adeena to...

@Adeena Yes, agree with @patvicto that you'll need to give them those things. I think those are pretty standard things to ask for though, aren't they? I admit I didn't know what ruksati pics and nikkah nama were I just looked them up and they seem to be comparable to wedding ceremony pictures...

    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Hi there, Thanks for checking on us and your message with the additional info. I really, really hope we are that close now. Thankfully I've been able to visit my husband in the UK which is much better than waiting apart for sure. We've been finishing up getting his house ready to sell and it's...

Not necessarily. I would double-check on desktop too but only seeing the home address could be an indication they don't have it correct. I called in to change my address in June and they changed it. I checked eCAS and my "home address" showed it correctly in Canada. I didn't notice at the time...

    1) Yes, you can apply for PR for your spouse while you, the Canadian, are living outside of Canada. That is how our application started. We applied in February and I lived in Texas but I knew I was moving back to Canada in the summer (which I did). If you are living outside of Canada you have to...

    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

I would check eCAS and log in using both the sponsor's and the applicant's information to show the information is correct. There is a section for home address and another for mailing address. This is the only place we've found that shows our addresses.

Ah ok. I'm under the impression that he won't be sending his passport in because he's from a visa-exempt country and those nationals only need to send a photo of the information page in. Hopefully, since he just renewed his passport (at CIC request) last month and uploaded the new copy of that...

We just signed in with the PA information on eCAS and it shows "Decision Made" too. BUT it shows his home address as being in Canada (which is where I live) and his mailing address in the UK (which is where he lives). We have never told CIC that the applicant had moved to Canada! It is crazy...

    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

@vaudsama In our case the PA has the GCKey account and it still shows that it is in progress. I, the sponsor, have the eCAS account that is showing "Decision Made". We are also the London Visa Office. We had an email from LVO earlier this month to confirm they had updated my address and it...

Thanks for posting this. We received pre-arrival services last week too and then hadn't heard anything. I just checked eCAS when I saw your message and ours shows "Decision Made" under PA for us now too! I'm not sure if this is related to the pre-arrival services or not, but do know that it was...

Although a job change isn't specifically mentioned in the list for "keeping your information up to date" at this link (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/spouse-partner-children/track-update-application.html#update) I would say...

Our file was transferred on Sept 30th and AOR 2 received on Oct 3rd. Everything we've heard about London was that they are so slow so if they had it processed by the end of November that would be great, but contrary to what everyone seems to be saying. Of course, every case is different so...

Our progress bar is showing on my husband's account now. It is showing 13 weeks remaining. I guess it was just a glitch in their system?

    FEBRUARY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

As an update to our address change request - We finally received some communication from CIC about my request to get my address correct in their system after I had changed it back in June. I'm not sure why but it took 5 weeks to get a simple address change completed. On Nov 5th I received an...

@Gax Our progress bar isn't showing either. My husband said he got a message yesterday from them that they were going to do maintenance though so maybe that broke when they made an update last night?
