*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

If your not looking for it then it usually gets missed. For us it was there and gone after I touched the link. I think Stephan asked earlier if mine was a 2nd or 3rd and mine was for sure a third. I think things in MVO have slowed to a crawl. My wife is on a few Facebook forums and no one has...

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

It's my second time sponsoring and I expected the process to take longer but I was approved as a sponsor fairly quickly. I would hope that my wife would be approved in a reasonable amount of time based on her own merit.

While i think there is latitude in the interview for the VO officer to get the answers they need to verify the legitimacy of the application, it is still an interview and not an interrogation.

As I told my wife before we applied, expect and plan for it to take up to 1 year, if it is less then it's a bonus. Still it's hard not to get frustrated when you see applications flying through CPC-M in 3 months and you see your languishing in MVO.

*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

It's not a good thing and not a bad thing. It is very hard to read as early this year most where going to MVO and then most not and now more are going back to MVO, including my own. It does look like with the move to MVO you will see it take longer to get process than if it had stayed in...

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

it is a waiting game unfortunately. Just have to be patient and not really worry until you are past the average times. If average is 55 days and it is day 56, don't panic. If it is day 55 and it's day 80 then yes follow up. I think part of what slows the process is people who are calling way to...

    MAY 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

You should not expect an AOR for 50-55 days from received date, so you still have about another month till you hear something.

At this point I would not recommend it, the best time to get the passport changed was before you submitted. You may risk delaying your application for something that you can do after you land. My wife did hers quickly by taking her parents who needed to renew.

It depends VO to VO how long it takes to get there and it also depends how often the VO enters an update.
