*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

My wife kept falling for the ad she saw there, its caused a few minor arguments before she understood that they are all full of it when they say they can have any impact on your application. The process is not that hard, follow the instructions given by CIC they have made it simple to do on your...

I would approach your Representative and tell them the partner in Canada will be going to the local MP due to the delay and you need the tracking information for your paperwork. If your file ends up in MVO hell then you could find yourself waiting another 9-10 months meaning 2 years from when...

Then your Representative has been lying to you or negligent as 9 months is beyond excessive, did even if they sent the app from the Philippines 2-3 months would be the very most. Most of the Representatives out there are a joke, Canadian or Philippines based?

When you sent it did you keep the tracking number and information on it's arrival? Something is seriously wrong if you sent it in July and only recieved your AOR in April.

I would definitely approach your local MP. You can try now but with the election they may or may not even be there 3 weeks. With you app only moving to MVO a few weeks ago, something went off when it was being review, it should not have taken over a year to get moved to MVO.

I initially believed the same thing with the election but CPC-M is still pumping out the PPR's 10 times as fast as MVO. In the Facebook page my wife is on there are 1-2 MVO a day but many many more CPC-M. We are now seeing applications from late July Approved for CPC-M applicants and it is very...

Based on the conversations posted over there, it does seem like they were not doing as many interviews and now more are occurring. For a few weeks very little activity posted, then PPR's started coming and now the last few days many interview requests. Even one posting of someone received a PPR...

If your application has been moved to MVO, more often than not, there are questions that CIC has about the relationship.

It is not a requirement. For my wife we did change her passport to my last name since it does simplify things down the road as your PR is issued in what ever name is on the passport and there is no need to get the PR reissued afterwards. Simple tip to do this quickly, take your parent through...

That's very cheap, we have people we know who paid as low as 100,000 php and as high as 140,000 php for the consultant and then the other fees on top. Most of these guys don't even have a clue what they are doing and half the time they give bad advice causing more delays and if you have a rep...

In Cebu the whole clinic has issues, just do a review search on it on Facebook and you will see a common theme of complaints. As long as you follow up you can get it processed fast. The whole system is set up to milk as many pesos from applications as possible because they know you are at the...

From our what we have seen it doesn't seem that way, seems more often than not there is a lack of communication from the Rep and most of them are fly by night kind of operations. Many people we have talked to have really felt it was a waste of money.

Your being to generous by only calling them incompetent but advice is spot on. Any delay at any stage is a delay till you get your DM so do not feel any guilt at calling and being annoying. the NHS group that does the medicals is a joke but the only option you have and for what they charge you...

It should not take more than a few weeks. Follow up and push with the clinic. Ours was in Cebu and after two weeks we started calling every day as has been recommended to us by others who have been there. After a few days of this they got our medicals uploaded/
