My application was received and signed for on the 21st of June so it's barely 3 weeks ago. I'll have my new credit card around Tuesday next week. Would it be best to call the help line or is there perhaps a way of contacting someone in NS where our files are initially sent to???

Thanks. So no ones thinks I'll be able to send an updated payment form and hope they attach it to my file before they actually get around to checking it for completeness and sending the AOR?

I recently had fraudulant activity on my credit card and had to cancel it. I'll receive my new card within the next week. In the meantime I had submitted my application for PR at the end of June so still no AOR. I now hope my old credit card is not charged. How do I go about sending the payment...

Also make sure you have worked the required amount of hours.

It does not need to be continuous just so long as you have aquired 52 weeks plus the required amount of hours within the last 3 years before you apply. Full time hours are now 30 hours per week. You would need to have aquired a total of 1560 hours over a 52 week period.

Only work experience in Canada is taken into account. You need to make sure that you have fulfilled all the requirements under the CEC program before you apply. You need one FULL year Canadian work experience to be eligible before you apply.

I've not heard or read of a case where anyone had submitted or was required to submit reference letters for experience aquired outside of Canada.

As far as I am aware, that information is incorrect. You only need reference letters for your Canadian Experience.
