Oct 26. I got the same response from them as you got.

I also got that email from GETGCMS that IRCC has asked for 90 day extension over the 30 day confirmation to respond. Now is it just GetGCMS who is doing this? Does applying from other agencies or directly having a PR friend apply for you faster than GETGCMS? Or would it fall in the same queue?

strange - as you got "we will let you know once we start background check" now after "we are processing your background check"....... not sure about these texts they update.. but you can also call IRCC and the agent can help you with little more accurate information than what you see on account.

I will try calling back in 2-3 weeks if there is a change. Agent also said mostly update with agents Vs update on the account is in sync but sometimes account is not updated on time and calling the agents is better.

Hi , thanks for the informaiton. Let me try to connect with IRCC agent over call to get the status. Since im outside Canada I am not able to call IRCC. I have asked a friend from Canada to call on my behalf.. Is there any way that I can all IRCC directly from outside Canada?
