There is no logic to it.

It is not lol, I have received same email twice in past 400 days and no progress on my pending application. Definitely not hopium.

    FSW WORLDWIDE

It is an auto generated email, there is no weight to it. Yes I have received as well.

Indefinitely is not the correct word. Your H1B visa is for 3 years and you can keep on extending for 3 years as long as your I140 is approved. Every extension, amendment is like a new H1B you need to submit ton of documentation and there is no guarantee your extension/amendment gets approved...

Lol you are expecting way too much from a public forum. If you want information with proof send emails/call/tweet to respective government agencies.

    FSW WORLDWIDE

All posts you see here are just thoughts and assumptions. You should take these with a grain of salt. Also to reiterate lawyers/consultants do not know more than what we know. We all are sailing in same boat.

Oh no they won't cancel. They just won't issue any PPR's or any kind of update if they want to go that route.

    FSW WORLDWIDE

They may not do that, but there are other tricks to pull like not providing any update for years just to name one.

For sure. Also makes sense from IRCC's perspective us FSW's provide very little value to Canada from immigration/politics side

    FSW WORLDWIDE

I completely agree on this, there is no way IRCC is going to clear 562k backlog, its just not possible unless they decide to spend 3 to 4 years. I think it is high time FSW aspirants look for alternate path ways or look for different destination altogether. We are fooling ourselves if we expect...

It is going be hard ngl, it all depends on how you present your application and if you planning to move with your family be ready for huge expenses. Best part is Spouse work permit and if you can get it can help you alot. Again lot of variables in student application with family.

If you do Masters in US yes you will have 2 chances compared to someone from India with Master's degree who only has 1 entry into the system.

I mostly agree with this but remember every one has their own reasons to move to Canada, I am moving because of the freedom to work wherever I want and start my own business I cannot do this in US for next 20 years. For me Canada is a good prospect.

Literally everyone whose AOR is after March 2020 are waiting for some progress. I would suggest plan independent of your PR application, no one knows when IRCC starts working on pending applications so there is no timeline. Apply for H1B and hope for the best.

Hmm wrong, dependent points should be taken into consideration. OP should raise a web form immediately.
