Determination of residency status for tax purposes (?)

With your spouse residing in Canada, you certainly do have significant ties which would render you a resident for tax purposes.

    183 day rule

You are not eligible for a health card if you are not living in Canada. A bank account is useful and will not affect your non-resident tax status.

Charged with dui with approved lmia inside canada

Is this true? I was under the impression that DUI was grounds for inadmissibility to Canada, which is much more severe than other "minor offences".

    Moving from USA(H1B) to Canada(PR)

One main difference between the visas that could explain the differences in perception is that the TN visa does not offer a path to permanent residency in the US, while the H1 does. So, TN visa holders are viewed as working in the US temporarily without any intention of staying on permanently.

Vitiligo & depression can be Humanitarian considerations?

If your family ties weren't strong enough to bring you to Canada to live here, how can you expect them to be strong enough to allow you to keep your PR?

Residency Obligation as a full-time employee of a Canadian business?

It sounds like you incorporated a company in Canada that you own, and have been living outside of Canada for quite some time. You will likely not be able to count any of those days towards your residency obligations. It doesn't matter who you met with or how much value you created.

Negotiating Rent in Markham Ontario area

There is nothing that would prevent you from negotiating the rent. Give it a shot, and if your landlord doesn't accept, then you can just pay the rent he is asking for.

Retaining US phone number in Canada

No Canadian provider will allow you to maintain a US number (it is a different country, after all). You may be able to port it to a VoIP provider and use it on your phone through an app.

    Vancouver empty home tax

They can, and there are a number of companies that provide these services and more (e.g., they go into houses, turn on lights, turn on water taps, etc.). Personally, I think they should all be shut down and the owners/employees charged with attempted fraud. But that's just my opinion.

    Vancouver empty home tax

They are definitely cross-checking with utility companies to look at daily usage and the timing of usage as well. My understanding is that city representatives are also visually looking for gardens, driveways, etc. that may provide the appearance of the house being uninhabited.

    child benefit help urgent

What you need to d is fairly simple. Call the CRA and inform them that you left the country on the date that you did. DO NOT LIE as they can easily check records if they want to. They will ask you to repay the amounts received after your date of departure with interest and/or penalties. Once...

Which SIM Card to purchase and internet plans to buy ?

Public Mobile operates using the TELUS network (which Bell shares in certain provinces). So it is as reliable as Bell, Telus, Koodo, Virgin, etc. as they all operate on the same network, but just at a lower cost.

Not declaring it is illegal and is an act of fraud.

How to get Incorporated? IT professional PR status

Incorporate a Federal company and you can use it across provinces. I would suggest the services of a firm like A&P Intertrust who will handle the entire process for $600 or so, or you can do it yourself and save $150.

    Car parking while on vacation

I wouldn't recommend roadside parking for obvious safety reasons. However, one more negative is that in the winter, many towns/cities require you to move your vehicle from the roads for snow plowing. So, your vehicle could be towed if parked in one of these zones.

Do sponsored parents have to file tax returns?

Also, on another note, there is no requirement for your parents to stay in Canada for 183 days per year. Rather, to maintain their PR, they must live here for 2 years out of every 5, which is much more flexible.

Child tax benefit outside of Canada?

Yes, but in the OP's case, the children were not living with the parent, and were not even in Canada.

Do sponsored parents have to file tax returns?

If they have overseas income, they should file a return. Even without documentary evidence, they can declare the income and the taxes paid in their home country, if any.

Probable Resident status Revocation ...please advise

You can place your daughter in public school, but not while she is on a regular tourist visa. Also, you will have to pay for the school as she is not a PR or citizen.

Child tax benefit outside of Canada?

Out of curiosity, why do you expect the government to give you money to help you raise your kids when your kids aren't even with you? Of course you can't apply for Child Benefits until your kids are with you in Canada.
