Can you please tell your timeline?I am Jan Applicant and have also received prearrival 2 months ago. I did called them yesterday and was informed that my background chk is complete do anyone know how long it take after this.

They told me processing time is 6 months and my file is well in timeline so I should expect something till end of july but I am not really sure how long it’s gonna take

When we called IRCC they informed that its in the final stage and waiting for final decision..
No Idea how long it’s going to take now
I spoke to ircc they said i need to apply for the extension unless i receive a ecopr.No, you need not to apply for the work permit now.

Something interesting. I do call IRCC time to time to get an update. I always felt less stressful talking to an individual rather than seeing a static GC Key portal. In any case, initially i was told my primary VO was Whitehorse and secondary was Etobicoke. Today they told me that my primary VO is Winnipeg and secondary is Whitehorse. I told him that i was told about Etobicoke, but he checked and said that he only sees Winnipeg and WH, may be previously there was some misunderstanding. I guess the portal access he has, he can only see what are the current assigned VOs.
However, this means that my file was moved from Etobicoke and assigned to Winnipeg. I am curious, what about other people? You can always call and then update us here.
