Hi, Today I applied for my infants canada passport from India by adding travel airticket as proof of urgency. I was told to come and pickup passport on jan 30. So Can I cancel my flight ticket now, so that I will get full refund? Should I keep my ticket till I get passport or i can cancel it?

But we have to select 2 options before submitting application for ID cards section. One option is can select as explanation letter , other option can I select "government issued ID card" and for that option can I upload birth certificate?

So even if child doesn't have indian passport, and one of his parent is indian citizen , he is considered as Indian citizen ? Or we have to enroll kid indian citizenship again ? My kids are born to naturalized canadian citizen father. So we are confused whether we can apply for indian passport...

Thanks for your reply.Yeah you are right atleast one ID to be photo Id. Date of birth certificate doesn't have photo in it, so I think I can't use it as photo ID. indian passport or AADHAR are the only photo IDs I could think of, but these days aadhar is taking approx 180days for issuing new one...
